New York City Philanthropist Buzzy Geduld Honored by Anderson Foundation for Autism at New-York Historical Society Reception
The leadership team and trustees of Anderson Foundation for Autism announced today that New York City philanthropist Buzzy Geduld has been honored for longtime support of Anderson’s mission, which is to optimize the quality of life for individuals with autism. The event took place at New-York Historical Society on September 21st, where approximately guests enjoyed live jazz music and the opportunity to celebrate Geduld’s positive contributions to the cause.
Born and raised in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, Geduld is a lifelong resident of New York City and father of three daughters. CEO of Cougar Capital, LLC since its inception in , Geduld is the former chair and CEO of Herzog, Heine, and Geduld, now a Merrill Lynch company.
Geduld’s charitable work has included roles as trustee and director of New-York Historical Society, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Baruch College, and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is the grantor for the Eileen Geduld Zaglin Scholarship Fund, which provides funding for economically disadvantaged high school students in Brooklyn
