André Rieu
André Rieu, nizozemský violista, aranžér a hudební producent. Narodil se do hudební rodiny. Jeho otec, André Rieu senior, byl dlouholetý šéfdirigent Limburgského symfonického orchestru ze sídlem v Maastrichtu. Jako houslista v něm působil do roku i André junior. V pěti letech se začal učit na smyčcové nástroje, později studoval konzervatoř v Lüttichu a Maastrichtu. Soukromé hodiny bral u maďarského houslisty André Gertlera a Hermana Krebberse. Rieu patří v současnosti (únor ) mezi nejpopulárnější propagátory vážné hudby. Zde bych rád zopakoval to, čeho jsem se dotkl ve filmografii Bedřicha Smetany. Hudba 16, 17 i století je stará, ale neznamená to, že je vážná. O Moliérových komediích také neříkáme, že jsou vážné. Když Bůh stvořil Zemi, propadli lidé kouzlu dvou protichůdných emocí - pláči a smíchu. Samozřejmě dávali přednost smíchu. Nebyla skupina QUEEN, ale Vivaldi, který napsal hit ČTVERO ROČNÍCH OBDOBÍ. André Léon Marie Nicolas Rieu (* 1. Oktober in Maastricht) ist ein niederländischer Violinist, Orchesterleiter, Arrangeur und Musikproduzent. Den Quellenangaben zufolge hat er in seiner Karriere mehr als 40 Millionen Tonträger verkauft. Die erfolgreichste Veröffentlichung von André Rieu ist das Album Strauß & Co. mit rund drei Millionen verkauften Einheiten.
Leben
Rieu wurde in Maastricht geboren. Er stammt aus einer Musikerfamilie und wuchs mit klassischer Musik auf. Sein Vater André Rieu sen. (–) war Chefdirigent des Limburgs Symfonie Orkest LSO, in dem André jun. bis als Geiger spielte. Ersten Violinunterricht hatte er mit fünf Jahren, später studierte er an den Konservatorien von Lüttich und Maastricht sowie bei dem ungarischen Violinisten André Gertler in Brüssel; er nahm an Kursen bei Herman Krebbers teil.
