Confusion over viral ‘divorce’ chat between Hollywood A-listers Emily Blunt and John Krasinski
Trying to lip-read conversations between Hollywood stars has become something of a global pastime when watching awards ceremonies, and the Golden Globes were no different.
While some younger viewers were busy trying to figure out what Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez were animatedly chatting about over the dinner table, it was another conversation before the ceremony proper that had other tongues wagging.

Oppenheimer’s Emily Blunt and her husband, The Office star John Krasinski, were captured chatting while posing for photos outdoors at the LA event on Sunday night.
And it got tongues wagging.
When the brief clip appeared online, some viewers were absolutely convinced that Krasinski mouthed the word “divorce” as he gave a wan smile for the cameras.
“I’ve watched this times trying to convince myself he said something other than ‘divorce’,” one fan said.
“Did he say ‘I can’t wait to divorce?’” asked another.

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski put on a loved-up display as they hit the red carpet at last night’s Critics’ Choice Awards despite divorce rumours circulating following a viral video from the Golden Globes.
The couple, who wed in and share two children, were inseparable at the glittering award ceremony where Blunt, 40, was nominated for the best supporting actress gong for her performance as Kitty in Oppenheimer.
Dressed in a show-stopping, floor-length sequin red gown, the Pain Hustler’s star wrapped her arm around her husband, 44, and gazed lovingly into his eyes.
A Quiet Place creator Krasinski, who looked dapper in a white blazer and brown trousers, appeared to tickle his wife’s funny bone as she laughed heartily while they posed together.
The lovebirds were also snapped alongside Blunt’s Oppenheimer co-star Cillian Murphy, with the Christopher Nolan-directed film taking home a whopping eight awards on the night including best picture, best acting ensemble, best cinematography, and best director.
