Their project is the fusion of different ethnicities and cultures, the singer is Israeli from Iranian origin, the santur player is Turkish the guitarist is French and they cooperate with musicians from different origin as well (Turkish, English and more). With the strength and openness of their youth and the various musical influences they have, they intuitively created a original colourful blend of their inner voices with flavours that would carry the imagination on a travel trough the Middle east and beyond.

Sie ist in Israel aufgewachsen, als Tochter iranischer Eltern. Ihre musikalische Heimat hat Michal Elia Kamal aber in Istanbul gefunden. Dort hat sie die musikalischen Traditionen des Orients adaptiert, kombiniert mit europäischer Musik und hebräischen Texten. Auf der Straße singend ist sie zu einem Vorbild für Frauen im ganzen Mittleren Osten geworden - kein Wunder, will sie sich doch mit ihrer Stimme "in eine Löwin verwandeln".

Es ist etwas unheimlich, ihr zuzusehen, wenn sie anfängt zu singen. Diese kleine, zierliche Person, die so scheu und zurückhaltend wirkt, verwandelt sich dann plötzlich mit dem ersten Ton in eine Riesin. Michal Elia Kamal was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, to an Iranian-Jewish father and mother. Her father's family is from Tehran, and her maternal family is from Isfahan. Michal has two sisters, older and younger. She grew up in the Ramat Aviv neighborhood.[3][4]
