Amel Bouchoucha was born on July 25, in Ain Zarqa, in the city of Wenza, Tebessa Province, Algeria. She started her artistic career when she moved to Lebanon to participate in the “Star Academy” program in its fifth season. She sings in Arabic, English and French. She also excelled in western and oriental dance and took ninth place. The professors called her the Arab Jennifer Lopez and the new Carioca greeting, and she was able to enter the hearts of millions with her voice and charisma on stage and the way she dances.
